Seeking on-site Sr. Reservationist to assign conference and meeting room space and respond to issues related to client events. Will partner with the Meetings and Facilities teams to ensure client and attendees have requested support in the Conference Center and meeting rooms. An individual in this role will be required to interact with employees and high-profile visitors in a professional and courteous fashion. The Sr. Reservationist shall assist in developing data-based reports of Conference Center and meeting room usage as well as summarizing and tracking other metrics upon request. Schedule is Monday-Friday.
Assign conference and meeting room reservations using Events Management System (EMS).
Work with Meetings staff in preparation of all upcoming events.
Partner with Facilities team to monitor rooms for back-to-back meetings to ensure they are reset as required.
Contact Audio Visual team to assist clients with requests for prompt response on last minute requests.
Check emails upon arrival and throughout the day for daily updates on meeting reservations and available space.
Answer phones and take messages professionally and promptly.
Transfer calls promptly and efficiently.
Provide back up phone support.
Neat appearance and professional at all times.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma, Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
Experience managing reservations – knowledge of EMS system or related reservations system highly desired.
Ability to translate data/metrics into various summary reports and formats.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees of all levels.
Five (5) years experience in an office environment, answering phones or customer service position.
High level of customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and database maintenance.
Ability to operate basic office equipment and technology.
