"This has been the best subcontractor arrangement I've had — in ten years. You've made my job easier, and I'm very grateful."

Selected Projects:

Projects RESPECT and RESPECT-2 were national studies evaluating the efficacy of HIV prevention counseling and rapid-test HIV results reporting in changing high risk sexual behaviors and preventing new sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and HIV. In addition to programming and testing all data collection software, NOVA provided data management, data analysis, training and administrative support for these projects.

National Behavioral Surveillance Survey (NBHS)
The National Behavioral Surveillance Survey (NBHS) project is funded by the CDC to study Men who have Sex with Men (MSM), Injection Drug Users (IDU) and High-Risk Heterosexuals (HRH) populations in US cities of high-risk for HIV infection. Data are collected from participants using paper interviews, Pocket PC technology and eventually Web technology. NOVA programmed and tested the English and Spanish versions of the data collection software as well as provided training and administrative support.
