Five-City Women's Health Research Study—Women Helping to Empower and Enhance Lives.

NOVA staff planned, developed and implemented an effective pilot test of the National Institute's AIDS Prevention Model: Reaching Women at Risk—which was collaboratively developed with HIV/AIDS researchers across the U.S. The Model, along with NOVA developed training curriculum, presented a menu of strategies, approaches, and techniques for planning, setting up, and implementing a comprehensive program for reaching and effectively intervening with women at risk (i.e., female sexual partners of injection drug users) for HIV infection.
